We at MHA take pride in managing people’s pain and often eliminating people’s pain issues. Pain comes in all shapes, sizes, and forms. What works for one person in pain relief can often hurt another. One person with a tight back may need traction for their spine, where an inversion table may help them. Another person with a herniated disc may worsen their back issues by using an inversion table. Some pain you must deal with by using the aggravated body part where other people need to rest and not use a body part to heal temporary inflammation. The inconsistencies make coping with pain so frustrating due to all the factors that cause and relieve pain.

The first thing to look at when dealing with pain is understanding what the pain is. Having the best objective understanding of what you are dealing with in your pain makes it so much easier to make educated possibilities of treating your pain. Too often live our lives dealing with nagging injuries and do not go to a doctor to get imagery to understand what the pain is. Finding what you are dealing with in pain goes way farther than people often think. Too often, you misunderstand these readings if you do not find an exact answer. Suppose you do not see anything that could be causing your pain; you feel defeated. The fact is you answered a lot of possibilities that are not the problems, such as torn ligaments, fractured bones, and many more. You can then move on to other issues that should be causing your pain.
In these cases, we often look at other possibilities such as a person’s posture and correct movement, over usages of a body part from everyday activity, hydration, nutrition possibilities such as sugar and sodium intake or allergies, environmental influences such as seasonal allergies, internal physiology such as organ and blood function or others, neurological or psychological factors such as stress and sleep, and more. As frustrating as it is going on an exploratory process of pain, it helps to check off the list to help determine what you are working with and what kind of doctor you should see to help deal with your pain.

The fact of the matter is, there are many possibilities to understand what causes people’s pain. Feeling good most, if not all of the time, is always the ultimate continued goal. Living life in chronic pain is no way to live and is often a battle every day to function. We do believe there is a method and possibility for everyone to exercise with pain. Taking the proper steps to understand how to deal with your pain is necessary for living a better-quality life. We can help you know the first step in what you should do to help understand your pain management.
